Getting to know you…
Founder & Podcast producer
Hey, I’m Ollie, and I’m an award-winning podcast producer. I spent a decade working for the BBC, as a local radio producer, reporter and presenter. At BBC Radio Guernsey, I presented the Saturday Breakfast and Mid-morning shows, before moving onto the weekday drive-time news show. Joining BBC Radio Berkshire, I appeared on BBC Introducing and a variety of brand-new evening shows, which I created, designed and launched. I’ve since created and produced podcasts in a range of sectors aiming to boost the profiles of thought leaders and engage the minds of listeners. I’ve given a TEDx talk on ‘The Power of Constructive Media’, shared my podcast expertise with university students in bespoke masterclasses and panel discussions, judged the Publisher Podcast Awards for two years running, and gave a talk at the 2020 One Voice Conference.
Creative Director & Producer
Hey, I’m Phillippa. As a former BBC World Service newsreader and producer, I bring nearly ten years experience to my role within OG Podcasts. Most recently I presented and produced the BBC’s shortest podcast, BBC Minute. 60 seconds of global news delivered to millions of listeners around the world, every half an hour. Before my time in the World Service, I worked as a presenter, reporter and newsreader across other parts of the BBC, including in Guernsey where Ollie and I met. In recent years I’ve enjoyed the many public speaking opportunities my job has afforded me – including travelling to South Africa to give a talk at the Radio Days Africa conference. Here I spoke to radio editors and journalists from across the continent about what makes a good podcast for young people. I love the creativity that audio allows and I can’t wait to see what we come up with together!
